Innovative Pneumatic Vent Gas Capture and Control

As energy companies continue to look for economical solutions to help reduce emissions from the production process, Cordova Flow Controls would like to introduce the VentHawk to help achieve the capture and control of vent gas from pneumatic controllers on gas and oil processing equipment. The VentHawk has been reviewed by the States of Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico as an economical alternative when capturing and controlling pneumatic vent gas emissions.


The Patent Pending VentHawk systems is an economical solution for your company to address the pneumatic venting controllers on your equipment for a fraction of the cost of other solutions such as replacing controllers with electric valves or installing costly instrument air packages (both solar and grid). The VentHawk is an easy installation which does not require stopping flow of your equipment, and can be installed by your personnel to keep costs at a minimum. The VentHawk requires NO POWER and can even pay for itself over time as it supplies a pilot burner on your equipment with the used vent gas for process burning. It is not in addition to your original pilot gas source, it is an either or situation. When vent gas is available to burn, the pilot gas is stopped until all vent gas is utilized. When all of the vent gas is utilized, the pilot gas resumes operation.


If there is no pilot gas, enclosed combustor, or vapor recovery unit available on site, the VentHawk CH4 model is your answer. The CH4 accepts vent gas and utilizes the gas to provide heat for instrument control gas or even can be designed to heat process valves themselves.
